Kathleen received her
bachelor's degree in Psychology from California
State University, Long Beach, and received her
Master of Arts in Christian Education and her
Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological
Seminary. She is currently co-pastor at the
Wildwood Presbyterian Church and resides with
her husband and three children in Wildwood,
Illinois.
She has published over a dozen books and
considers writing a calling in her life much
like her call to serve in the ministry. Using
the questions of small children in her
congregation and her own home, Kathleen reaches
children ages three to six years of age by using
Bible passages to answer their questions and
encourage them to explore the Bible. The rich
illustrations within her books help children to
understand the practical truths of Scripture and
help to deliver the message that God is a part
of their daily lives.

Elena Kucharik is an accomplished artist and illustrator who created the highly successful Care Bears characters in the 1980s. She illustrates the Little Blessings line of children’s books at Tyndale House Publishers.
She and her husband have grown children and live in Connecticut.
