These unique manipulative sets are excellent for drill work in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and pre-aalgebra. Setting personal time goals gives students incentive to practice. These are great tools for the visual and tactile student, and, if you encourage them to say the problems out loud, they are equally good for the auditory child. The self correction feature (when answers are correct, the string lines up wit the lines on the back of the key) provides immediate feedback for checking accuracy.
